It is possible to make roller blinds which pull up from the bottom. It is especially good for privacy when your windows are at ground level next to a footpath.

It is spring loaded and attached to the window sill by roller blind brackets. The roller blind is pulled from the bottom to the top using cord and pulleys. www.baileysblinds.com.

  1. DAVID SHIMMINGS says:

My church has a requirement for a blackout roller blind to stop light from a Church window falling on a projection screen.

The blind would have to sit on the sill of the window – in the window recess and pull up to obscure the light.

The width of the window recess is 160cm and the pull up height would preferably be 330 cm but 300cm might be acceptable.

The fabric would be blackout type and the colour stone or beige.

    Can you help?
