The vents can be manually or electrically actuated. Pleated roof blinds will provide help with the heat and glare but the blinds must retract when the window vent is open. The actuator, if electric or screw jack, if manual prevents the the blind travelling from top to bottom.

The snappy solution is to make one pleated roof blind in which the top section goes to the top and the bottom section goes to the bottom. The roof blind can be fully opened or closed across the roof vent window. The roof blind can be retracted both ways and the vent opened to allow hot air to escape. Baileys Blinds show many images of conservatory roof blinds on our Facebook on www.baileysblind.com.

Baileys Blinds from Bury St Edmunds and Brandon in Suffolk supplied and installed pleated blinds in this conservatory roof using the Perfect Fit system from Louvolite.
There is no need to drill holes when fitting Perfect fit blinds.

Perfect fit blinds clip into place and will appear to become part of the window frame. They can be easily removed to allow the conservatory windows to be cleaned.
Perfect fit blinds do not clutter the window sills and are particularly suitable for tilt and turn windows in conservatories.www.baileysblinds.com.

Most of the time we have use right angled extendable face fix brackets to fit vertical blinds in conservatories.

The brackets have to be long enough to allow the vertical blind slats to be clear of the window handles when they are fully open. The vertical blind bracket is screwed into a nylon gromet which allows the blind positioned closer to or further from the window as required. This feature is useful when we need to run vertical blinds into the corners in conservatories.

Fitting is the most challenging part of the window blind buying process.

Window blinds are installed using different types of attachment brackets which need to be fixed where the blind is suspended. Once the brackets are fixed in place the rest is easy.

The difficult bit is drilling the holes in the correct location and having a drill which is powerful enough to penetrate the window lintel or wall.
