The roller blinds were made by Baileys Blinds in the Eastern Way industrial unit in Bury St Edmunds. The carnival canary fabric is mounted on 28mm diameter aluminium tubes and is raised and lowered by a chain operated unit mounted on one side.

The roller blinds are fitted so that the tops of the poles run in line along the conservatory window frames. The raising and lowering mechanisms are white in colour to blend in with the conservatory.

The shaped bottoms are cut out of the fabric and by hand using a template and are trimmed with braid. A pocket is formed to hold the chrome bottom bottom pole.

The roller blinds fixing brackets are powder coated in white and are attached to the conservatory frames using half inch long number 8 screws.www.baileysblinds.com.

Carnival fabric from Louvolite is flame retardant, washable and has dim out properties which provide shading and uv protection in commercial and domestic blind installations. The hot pink colour shown in the images gives a warm pink glow in the conservatory.

Carnival hot pink with white wooden bottoms.

The roller blinds are fitted on the conservatory doors. The fabric just covers the glass and runs up and down behind the door handles.

Roller blinds on the conservatory doors.

The roller blinds are moved easily and smoothly up and down by a chain operated sidewinder. All of the brackets and components are manufactured in white. The fabric is mounted on 28mm diametre aluminium tube which will remain straight in the heat of the conservatory unlike cheap fibre tube which will warp.

Carnival Hot Pink roller blinds.

The Carnival hot pink roller blinds were made with white wooden bottoms instead of the usual sewn bottom. Baileys blinds manufacture and install roller blinds in and around Suffolk. Our showrooms are in Bury St Edmunds and Brandon or see our online catologue at www.baileysblinds.com.

We had to be very careful of the chandeliers while moving our ladders around the ballroom. Ivor had the idea of offering a chandelier cleaning service to the council. I would only agree if Ivor would be Dell Boy.
